WELCOME TO
PIALATES
My passion for Pilates started while I was attending college and discovered mat Pilates. It was
through this experience that I learned my true potential, found true awareness of my body and
how to connect my strength throughout. As a child in Chile, I did not practice sports and was
very unfamiliar with what body awareness meant. Pilates has given me a new understanding of
movement, body engagement and the value this has in overall health.
During my late twenties, I was diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction. I used Pilates to
rehabilitate and reconnect to my pelvic floor and the rest of my body. I gained early experience
combining Pilates and rehabilitation with clients in an orthopedic and pelvic pain setting. Since
then, I have become very in tune with how Pilates can give you the “physical” body one may
desire but more importantly heal the “inner” body. This realization has allowed me to expand
my practice and scope of clients to all body types, backgrounds, and goals.
My mission in teaching Pilates is to increase pelvic floor and body awareness to all communities
and how powerful this connection can be to one’s overall well-being. I believe that
understanding the function of the pelvic floor as an intricate part of the human body is essential
to mind-body awareness.
I am fully certified in Pilates apparatus in addition to Scoliosis and Pilates for Neurological
Conditions. I also have extensive experience working with Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions and Pre-
and-Post Natal population.
I genuinely care about the well-being of my clients and bring warmth and dedication to all my
sessions. This creates a space for healing and restoration where my clients feel supported in
reaching their highest health and fitness potential.

WHAT IS THE REFORMER?
The reformer is the most popular and versatile piece of equipment in the entire Pilates method repertoire. It helps clients and students obtain core strength and stability in the center of the human body, what Joseph Pilates referred to as the “POWERHOUSE.” The Reformer pushes your body to work regardless of the torso’s: supine, prone or sitting or side lying.
